Solome Nakaweesi Kimbugwe, Chairperson

Solome Nakaweesi Kimbugwe is a feminist activist within the feminist and women's movement in Africa and Internationally. Solome holds a Masters degree in Development Studies from the University of East Angalia, Norwich, United Kingdom and a Bachelors degree in Social Sciences from Makerere University, Kampala Uganda. She has undergone several trainings in policy advocacy, gender, Women's human rights, NGO and financial management, feminist leadership, monitoring and evaluation. She is currently the Executive Director of Akina Mama wa Afrika (AMwA).

 

 

 

 Rebecca Amuge Otengo, Vice Chairperson

Rebecca Amuge Otengo is a Woman Member of Parliament for Lira district. She holds a Master of Science and a Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management from Ndejje University, Uganda, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government Administration and Development from University of South Africa and a Diploma in Business Studies from Nakawa College of Business Studies, Uganda and holds certificates in several disciplines .

Her special interests lie in research,peace building,girl child education and development,dialogue, women's rights and tourism.

 

 

Sylivia Namabidde Musisi Ssinabulya, Finance Secretary

Silvia holds a Masters Degree in Public Health Leadership from Uganda Christian University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Uganda Management Institute. She is a Woman Member of Parliament for Mityana

 

 

 

 

 Benigna Mukiibi (Mrs), Member

Benigna Mukiibi is a founder member of FOWODE and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Food Science and Nutrition from the University of Gent Belgium  and a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from Makerere University,Uganda.









 

 

Ruth Christine Masika (Mrs), Member

Ruth Masika holds a Bachelors Degree in Law from the University of East Africa, Tanzania. She has worked as a state attorney, Advocate of the High court in Uganda and Kenya
